This page explains what Trending Formats collects, why, and who handles it. It’s short because we don’t collect much.
Who we are
Trending Formats is run by John Isaacson in the UK. John is the data controller. Contact: hello@johnisaacson.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you type it into a form to get the feed.
- Login timestamps, so we know when you last signed in.
We don’t ask for your name, a password or payment details.
How we use it
- To send you a 6-digit login code. These emails are sent through Resend.
- To send you the Trending Formats email list. The list is run on SendFox. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off.
- To run the app. The app and its database are hosted on Railway.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone except the services named above, which process it for us to do these jobs.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and login times while you have an account. If you unsubscribe, you stop getting list emails straight away.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@johnisaacson.co.uk from the address you signed up with and we’ll deal with it, usually within a few days and always within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date below.
